The Mission
We first went into partnership with Technic Aviation in 2003. Their business has always specialised in the repair and overhaul of aircraft propellers and now, with our help commercial aircraft wheels and brakes. The company needed to launch this completely new capability and grow its market share within the existing sector. Technic Aviation was looking for an individual or a business that could take them to the next level. The company had to build up a clear strategy and put together action plan to establish its aircraft commercial wheels and brakes division within the marketplace. They wanted to be able to work hand in hand with a professional organization that would guide them through each and every step of the way. The company required his partner to be loyal and trustworthy, available, pro-active, solution and profit driven, passionate and at the same time being able to think out of the box to innovate within this very competitive market.

Our first objective was to build up relationships with all major manufacturers in order to become an approved repair centre and be able to provide a wider range of services and support to the customer base of Technic Aviation. The Management wanted to offer cost per landing, line maintenance and full overhaul services. This whole project took two years. However, after the second year we were able to support all wheel and brake manufacturers and offer a set of tailor made cost per landing and package programs to Technic Aviation’s existing and prospective clients. Undertaking such a challenging mission has enabled us to gain a deep understanding of this market segment and also to sign up several major airlines.
Results:
Altogether, we have secured more than 3 Million Euros of business and have opened accounts with every single wheel and brake manufacturer and their service centers. In addition to this, we have also secured a large MOD contract for the maintenance, repair and overhaul and full support of a large fleet of propeller powered aircraft.
